Andrea McPherson was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in Portland, OR. At 25-years old she resides in Washington, DC and currently works as a ballet teacher, freelance writer/journalist and actress. Some of her professional acting credits include an independent film entitled, “Dysfunktional,” and a cameo in National Geographic Channel’s “The Incredible Human Machine”. Prior acting experience includes 5 independent films and regular work with Washington National Opera as a supernumerary. Her education and training consists of four and a half years of stage experience as a theater major (for which she earned a degree in May of 2006) with the Norfolk State University Players. In 2004, Ms. McPherson was crowned Miss Norfolk State University and later represented her school in the Miss Virginia Pageant in the summer of 2005. In the near future Ms. McPherson hopes to establish a steady full time and professional writing and acting careers.
